About Person-Cantered Therapy
Person-centred therapy, also known as person-centred or client-centred counselling, is a humanistic approach that deals with the ways in which individuals perceive themselves consciously, rather than how a counsellor can interpret their unconscious thoughts or ideas.
Created by psychologist Carl Rogers, the person-centred approach ultimately sees human beings as having an innate tendency to develop towards their full potential. However, this ability can become blocked or distorted by certain life experiences. The approach can help the client to reconnect with their inner values and sense of self-worth, thus enabling them to find their own way to move forward and progress.

About me
Life led me to psychotherapy from my position as a director of an international organization. As a result, I have experience with major crises, post-trauma, and the problems that international and corporate environments cause for their employees.
I have two children and live with my family in Valencia, Spain, from where I regularly return to the Czech Republic.
I started my ten-year psychotherapy training at PCA Institute Prague in 2012 and completed the first, community-based part in 2017, since when I started working with clients under the supervision of Dr. Vendula Junkova. I completed the comprehensive program in PCA Rogers Psychotherapy and Counseling, totaling 1070 hours, in 2022.
Since 2020 I have been working as a psychotherapeutic support for the Gymnasium and Business Academy in Sedlčany.
In 2021 I completed the training in cottage crisis intervention of the Safety Line.
In addition to psychotherapy, I also deal with the protection of so-called soft targets from extreme forms of violence. Between 2004 and 2009 I worked as head of security for the Jewish Community in Prague, later as security manager of the security team of Radio Free Europe and later as deputy security director with responsibility for the security of the Czech headquarters and foreign bureaus in 23 countries.
To this day, he is still working on various security analyses. You can learn more about my security career on my LinkedIn profile.
